The aim of the INNOSID project is to improve the social inclusion of people with disabilities by creating innovative IT solutions based on emerging technologies. This project uses the blended mobility method, a hybrid approach to mobility that allows students and lecturers to work closely together before, during and after the INNOSID hackathon. Blended mobility is composed of virtual mobility and physical mobility. Virtual mobility (February 7 – March 18) is a preparatory phase that takes place two months before the beginning of the INNOSID hackathon, while physical mobility (March 28 – April 8) is an execution phase where students participate in two-week workshops hosted by partner universities. This year the hackathon will take place in Valencia (Spain).
All participants will experience project-based learning in multicultural teams, with student colleagues from 5 European countries, as they work to develop an application based on emerging technologies (VR, AR, ML, holograms, and 3D printing) to improve social inclusion of people with disabilities. Your work will be awarded by 4 ECTS.
All participants must be fluent in English and have at least two out of the following skills:
• software development
• Unity development
• user interface (UI/UX) design
• knowledge about emerging technologies.
• To participate on the INNOSID hackathon, laptop is required.
