If you’re new to the Solution Challenge, it is an annual competition that invites university students to develop solutions for real-world problems using one or more Google products or platforms. The mission of the challenge is to solve for one or more of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals using Google technology.

After the first time in 2017 GDG Devfest returns to Budapest and it’ll bring together developers, managers and speakers on 5th November to a virtual environment. What everyone can expect who attends this year’s event: - Mutiple tracks focusing on Public Cloud & Cloud Native topics - Streaming technology: up to thousands of attendees at the same time - 20+ speakers: Tech evangelists, experts and wizards from Hungary and from all around the world

The participants will be able to test and improve their programming skills, meet extraordinary mentors, and engage in captivating talks and workshops around the technical, civic and entrepreneurship fields. Grouped in teams of maximum 5 members, they will have 48 hours to develop a technical solution for a civic issue. The best projects enter the race for the sponsor prizes and the grand prize, worth 2000 EUR.

At the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, on October 26-27, 2020, for the 22nd time, we will organize the series of presentations of IT Professional Days once again. This event will be a little different than what you may have been experienced in the previous years as we are hosting it online.
