At the Faculty of Informatics of the University of Debrecen, on October 26-27, 2020, for the 22nd time, we will organize the series of presentations of IT Professional Days once again. This event will be a little different than what you may have been experienced in the previous years as we are hosting it online. At the event, we offer our company/institutional partners the opportunity to give a presentation in Hungarian and/or English, as well as a “display room” appearance, and to organize trial interviews.

A new development, which will be carried out at the Supercomputer Centre of UD and completed by 2022, will multiply the HPC capacity currently available in Hungary by ten. On Friday, the time capsule of the project was placed at the Kassai Campus, where the facility will be located.

The results of a university survey initiated by the Faculty of Economics and Business, which focused on the e-learning system introduced in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2019/20 due to the Covid pandemic, have revealed that students at UD are satisfied with the system.

Graduates from the US received their diplomas in the rather unusual venue of Nagyerdei Stadion on the first two Saturdays of July. At the second installment of the extraordinary graduation ceremony, graduates from as many as nine faculties could toss their graduation caps into the air.
The UD is going to hold its end-of-academic-year closing ceremony in Nagyerdei Stadion. On Saturday, July 4, students of 5 faculties, while on Saturday, July 11, students of as many as 9 faculties, 2500 graduates altogether, will be receiving their diplomas at the ceremonies that will start at 5 pm.
