University of Debrecen, Faculty of Informatics organizes the
DEIK Regional Programming Contest in the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year

• Goal of the contest
  • To promote team-based computer programming contests, improve the participants’ teamwork and algorithmic programming skills, and provide an opportunity to try a fall with other teams at regional level.

• Participants of the contest
  • The contest is divided into two categories.
    • Category 1 is for teams of at most three students having no high school diploma (typically in their 9^th to 12^th grade year) from high schools of the region.
    • Category II is for teams of up to 3 full-time undergraduate (BSc or BA) students from universities, without a degree in computer science. The category also allows teams of university students and secondary school students to compete together, also with a maximum of 3 participants.
