On 19 January 2023 and also on 28 January 2023 between 9 am - 5 pm an NVIDIA DLI -- Fundamentals of Accelerated Data Science with RAPIDS online workshop will be held at the Faculty of Informatics.
In this Deep Learning Institute (DLI) workshop, developers will learn how to build and execute end-to-end GPU-accelerated data science workflows that enable them to quickly explore, iterate, and get their work into production. Using the RAPIDS accelerated data science libraries, developers will apply a wide variety of GPU-accelerated machine learning algorithms, including XGBoost, cuGRAPH’s single-source shortest path, and cuML’s KNN, DBSCAN, and logistic regression to perform data analysis at scale. All workshop attendees get access to fully configured, GPU-accelerated servers in the cloud, guidance from a DLI-certified instructor, and the opportunity to network with other developers, data scientists, and researchers.
Attendees can earn an NVIDIA certificate to prove subject matter competency and support professional growth.
On 27 January 2023 between 9 am - 5 pm an NVIDIA DLI -- Accelerating Data Engineering Pipelines online workshop will be held at the Faculty of Computer Science.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how GPUs can improve data pipelines and how using advanced data engineering tools and techniques can result in significant performance acceleration. Faster pipelines produce fresher dashboards and machine learning (ML) models, so users can have the most current information at their fingertips.
On 2 February 2023 between 9 am - 5 pm a Fundamentals of Deep Learning online workshop will be held at the Faculty of Informatics.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how deep learning works through hands-on exercises in computer vision and natural language processing. You’ll train deep learning models from scratch, learning tools and tricks to achieve highly accurate results. You’ll also learn to leverage freely available, state-of-the-art pre-trained models to save time and get your deep learning application up and running quickly.
