Provisions concerning the start of the 1st semester of the academic year 2021-2022 in the Faculty of Informatics

In line with the general position of the University of Debrecen units and in consultation with the Student Self-Government, education will start in the form of attendance, with special exceptions. Students attending courses with special exceptions will be informed separately about how to attend.

In the event of a possible deterioration of the epidemiological situation, the hybrid/full online exercise of previous semesters may be prepared with the following elements being put in place, depending on the severity of the situation and the higher provisions:

  • online delivery of lectures with a large number of participants (over 40),
  • weekly breakdown of seminar/lab groups,
  • full online classes.

Increased compliance with hygiene standards remains essential, including disinfection of personnel and equipment and other means of protection. I would also like to draw attention to the importance of vaccination in higher education.
