Advice on how to take good graduation photos:
I've put together 5 tips to make your graduation photo really good. Everyone gets a little nervous at graduation, because it's not every day you get to walk out on stage in front of 100 people.
Smile - Smile during speeches, when you walk out on stage and of course when you receive your diploma. That's why the guys in the picture look so good.
Firm handshake - A handshake has everything and it shows in the photo. A handshake that conveys strength, complemented by a smile, takes it all.
Look into the camera - the smile is there, handshake is done, diploma in hand and then look into the camera for 3 seconds.
Cap up high - throw the cap up high enough to click it off, i.e. to fit in the exposure time.
And at the end of the event, find the event photographer to take a picture of you and your friends together. This will definitely be your favourite photo, and the graduation photo will be your mum's.
