Regional programming contest

University of Debrecen, Faculty of Informatics organizes the
DEIK Regional Programming Contest in the fall semester of the 2016/2017 academic year.

  • Goal of the contest
    • To promote team-based computer programming contests, improve the participants’ teamwork and algorithmic programming skills, and provide an opportunity to try a fall with other teams at regional level.
  • Participants of the contest
    • The contest is divided into two categories.
      • Category 1 is for teams of at most three students having no high school diploma (typically in their 9th to 12th grade year) from high schools of the region.
      • Category 2 is for teams of at most three full-time students attending a bachelor-level undergraduate program at a university or college of the region, without holding a degree in computer science.
  • Date of the contest
    • Sunday, December 4, 2016.
  • Location of the contest
    • University of Debrecen, Faculty of Informatics, H–4028 Debrecen, Kassai út 26., Hungary.
